Building the Legal Infrastructure for the Internet with Raad Ahmed
Here's a snippet from our latest Digital Learning Session with Raad Ahmed, CEO & Founder of Lawtrades, a marketplace connecting lawyers with flexible engagements to help them become independent.
Graduating into one of the worst job markets in fifty years, Bangladeshi-American Raad Ahmed decided to use his law degree not to work for a law firm, but to use the internet to connect other lawyers to job opportunities. Fast forward to today, Lawtrades has helped lawyers earn $8M on the platform since 2017 while helping fast-growing tech companies freed up legal bottlenecks to improve their top line. The company became profitable after raising a $4M seed round led by Draper Associates, Social Capital, AngelList, 500 Startups, and more. Here's a snippet of a session he did recently with Bangladesh Angels. Thank you so much, Raad and the Lawtrades team!
